A Splash of Colour Swimming acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we live, gather and learn, and pays deep respect to Elders past and present.
We honour the enduring connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to land, waters, skies and community. We recognise that water holds deep cultural, spiritual and practical significance, and has long been a source of life, knowledge, connection and care.
As an organisation working in and around water, we acknowledge the privilege and responsibility of this work, and remain committed to learning, listening and walking respectfully alongside First Nations communities.
We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and that this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
